What is the kosher certification of products sold by The Candy Store?
Every item, whether packaged or bulk, sold by The Candy Store is approved by the Star-K of Baltimore.
When choosing a specific gift/package, may I substitute products other than those picture/listed?
Yes. Just write your request(s) in the comment box when you are checking out, and we will try to accommodate you. You will be notified via email regarding price adjustments.
Will the package I order look like the picture on the website?
All packages will look as pictured; however, the packaging colors may vary. We will try to honor specific color requests for trim and ribbons. Please write these requests in the comment box when you are checking out. We reserve the right to substitute products due to availability.
Is same day delivery available in the Baltimore area?
Yes. Orders must be placed by 12:00 p.m. for same day delivery. On Fridays or Erev Yom Tov (the day before a Jewish Holidays) orders must be place by 11:00 for same day delivery.
Can I request a specific shipping/delivery date?
Yes. Please be sure to include all special delivery requests in the comment box when you are checking out.
Can I order multiple items to be delivered or shipped to multiple recipients?
Yes, our website allows you to take care of all of your gift giving in one single checkout. You will be guided through this process during checkout.
How are local orders delivered/shipped?
Unless otherwise requested, local orders are hand delivered. The charge for local deliveries is $6.00. This includes most areas in the zip codes 21208, 21209, and 21215. Deliveries to Owings Mills, Reisterstown, Randallstown, and Yeshiva Lane are subject to a slightly higher fee. If a delivery service is necessary (for out of the immediate area) the delivery fee will be higher.
How are orders shipped?
Our products are shipped via UPS or a comparable carrier.
Can The Candy Store ship to a P.O. BOX?
No, UPS does not accept shipments to P.O. boxes.
Can chocolate products be ordered during the summer months?
We reserve the right to refuse to ship chocolate and other "meltables" at certain times due to hot weather. We will notify you if we are unable to ship something specific you have ordered. Chocolate in platters and centerpieces can be substituted with other products during the summer months if needed.
Can all centerpieces pictured on the website be shipped?
Yes, but some centerpieces may be changed slightly in order to ensure a safe delivery.
Do you ship internationally?
No. At this time we do not ship internationally.
Can I place an online order and pick it up in your store?
Yes. Any order placed before 12:00 p.m. (11 a.m. on Fridays and Erev Yom Tov (the day before a Jewish Holiday) can be picked up at our store on the same day. You will be notified through email when your delivery is ready to be picked up.
What is your return policy?
If a product arrives damaged please notify us immediately. We will do whatever we can to replace the item in a timely manner.
Do I pay sales tax?
All orders picked up in our store or shipped within Maryland are subject to MD state sales tax. All orders shipped out of state will not be charged sales tax.
When will my credit card be billed?
Your credit card will be charged within a day or two of delivery/shipping.

The Candy Store currently accepts Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.
